Common questions

The alarm rang again after I pressed Stop

That’s how SolveWake works: it rings again every minute until you’ve solved the problems. Tap Solve on the alarm to open the app and solve them.

How do I stop an alarm in an emergency?

On the solve screen, press and hold Emergency stop for 5 seconds. The alarm stops for this time. Your upcoming alarms are not affected.

The alarm didn’t ring

The alarm is too quiet

SolveWake uses your iPhone’s ringer volume, which you set in Settings → Sounds & Haptics. Tap Test alarm when editing an alarm to hear the real volume. Tip: turn off Change with Buttons in Settings → Sounds & Haptics so the volume buttons can’t lower it by mistake.

How does snooze work?

If snooze is on for an alarm, you solve one extra problem to snooze for 5 minutes. You can snooze at most once or twice, depending on the alarm’s setting.

What is the wake-up check?

Five minutes after you’ve solved the problems, a notification asks if you’re awake. If you don’t answer within a minute, the alarm rings again and you solve one more problem.

Free trial and purchase

SolveWake is free for 3 days. After that your alarms pause until you unlock the app with a one-time purchase. There is no subscription. To restore a purchase, open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchase.
